Senate Bill 1249
AN ACT
RELATING TO COUNTIES; INCREASING DOLLAR LIMIT ON CERTAIN CONTRACTS OF COUNTY WITHOUT NECESSITY FOR BIDS, AND AMENDING SECTION 11-254, ARIZONA REVISED STATUTES.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section l. Section 11-254, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read: 11-254. Contracts for supplies and buildings; competitive bids
All books, stationery and supplies for county institutions for the ensuing year, and all erections of, repairs to and alteration in any county building exceeding fio hwRa oEl O E THOUSAND dollars in value, shall be let by contract after advertisement made for bids therefor for not less than ten days nor more than four weeks in the official paper of the county. The advertisement shall state that sealed bids will be received at the office of the board until a date therein named, the nature of the bids and that specifications therefor may be seen at the office of the board, or it may call for specifications and bids. The boa rd shall let the contract to the lowest bidder, or may reject all bids and readvertise.
