Senate Bill 1175
AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING A STUDY OF CERTAIN PATHWAYS.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; purpose; exemption
A. The sum of fifty thousand dollars is appropriated to the state highway department for the purpose of making a study, to be available and completed by February 15, 1973, resulting in specific findings and recommendations to the state and its political subdivisions concerning the most economical, aesthetic and practical planning, design, construction and maintenance of bicycle and foot pathways. All state, county or municipal officials shall cooperate in the submission or exchange of information as the state highway department deems necessary in the preparation of such study and recommendations.
B. The appropriation made under the terms of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
